Gaze out from your picture window to a sea of green, then step outside and experience the power of forest bathing — known in Japan as shinrin yoku — a gentle practice of walking quietly among trees to reduce stress and restore wellbeing.

Important Information

Please be aware that there is a short 50m walk from your designated car park to the CABN. A cart is supplied to assist with your belongings.

These CABNs are situated approximately 70m from each other and offer the perfect opportunity to get away with family or friends (subject to availability). Please note additional guests are not permitted to camp at the CABN site.

CABN Kuitpo Forest is dog-friendly, and we welcome you to bring your VIP (very important pooch!) along for the CABN experience, however please keep in mind that the CABN is not fenced so dogs must remain on a long line lead at all times to respect the local surroundings.

Fire is prohibited on Forestry SA land and Forest Reserves between 1 November and 30 April in any year. (These dates may be extended in areas where high fire danger persists). Indoor wood fireplaces and outdoor fire pits are unable to be used during this period. The use of gas BBQs is prohibited from 1 Dec – 31 March.
