Pet-Friendly Accommodation in South Australia

We understand that connection comes in many forms, and often the most meaningful ones include the companions who walk quietly by our side. At CABN, our pet-friendly accommodation in South Australia invites you to experience nature without leaving your pet behind.

Our off-grid cabins are designed for shared moments, where your pet is not just welcome but part of the journey. Think mornings spent wandering forest trails together, guided by their curiosity, and evenings unwinding beside your CABN, your companion resting close as the stillness of nature settles in.

Across locations such as the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Kuitpo Forest, every stay is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and create something simple yet lasting together.

Your All-Access Pass to the Wild

Every CABN stay gives you and your companion something most pet-friendly accommodation in South Australia simply cannot match.

  • Curated Pet-Friendly CABNs: Nearly half of all our CABNs are set up for guests travelling with dogs. Each cabin gives your pet room to move while you settle into the minimalist, luxury fit-out.
  • Expansive Off-Grid Locations: Secluded acreage across Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Hahndorf, and Clare Valley. Open land means real space for your pet.
  • Eco-Friendly Supplies: We stock every cabin with plant-based, grey-water-safe bathroom products from Zero Co and sustainable toilet paper from Who Gives A Crap
  • Steps from Nature Trails: Every cabin is stocked with plant-based, grey-water-safe bathroom products and sustainable toilet paper.
  • Sustainable Luxury Living: Solar systems generating up to 8 kWh daily. Over 71,839 litres of rainwater collected across all sites. You get luxury. The land stays intact.
  • No-Surprise Pet Policy: A flat $40 per pet covers extra cleaning. Pets are welcome inside. No hidden charges.

The CABN Difference

There are dozens of accommodation options that technically allow dogs. CABN is built around them.

  • Authentic Off-Grid Experience: Every single CABN runs on solar and rainwater. We’ve generated 21,138 kWh of solar energy across all sites. You disconnect from the grid and reconnect with everything else.
  • Unrivalled South Australian Reach: With 39 cabins across 8 distinct regions, we offer more variety than any other boutique provider in the state. McLaren Vale, Clare Valley, Hahndorf, Kuitpo Forest, and more, all within a few hours of Adelaide CBD.
  • Design That Pulls the Outside In: Floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor baths, and minimalist interiors sit inside carefully chosen natural settings. Your dog wanders the land. You sit in an architecturally considered space and watch.
  • Partners We Are Proud Of: We stock every cabin with Zero Co and Who Gives A Crap products. Our sustainability claims carry real weight because they show up in the cabin and not just on a website.
  • Consistent Ratings Across All Regions: Reviews across Kuitpo Forest, McLaren Vale, and Kangaroo Island consistently score 4 and 5 stars. Guests specifically call out cabin warmth, cleanliness, and how easy the whole stay feels from check-in to check-out.
  • Partnership with Local Experiences: Through Wanderlust Willunga, we connect you to exclusive winery tours and degustation experiences in McLaren Vale. Your dog waits back at the cabin while you taste; everyone wins.
