CABN Matilda invites you to slow down and reconnect…with nature, with yourself, or with someone you love. Read a book, share a meal, take your dog for a walk (on-leash), or simply sit together in silence, with the open landscape as your backdrop.

This off-grid escape sleeps up to 4 guests, with a queen bed downstairs and a second queen bed in the loft, accessible via ladder. Nestled among rolling vines, Matilda is a cosy and minimalist stay designed for stillness and simplicity.

Important Information

You will be required to carry your belongings a short 20m walk to your CABN from the designated carpark.

Generally, your CABN is a tranquil place, however, it is located on a working winery and therefore on occasion there may be machinery noise and vineyard staff on the property. CABN Matilda is located approximately 30m from CABN Melissa, and is therefore suitable for small-group getaways.

A short 2-minute drive from your CABN is the Gemtree Eco trail. Enjoy a gentle walk along the regenerated creek line, observing the wealth of native plants and wildlife in this protected area.

Matilda is dog-friendly and we welcome you to bring your furry friends on the CABN experience, however, please keep in mind that the CABN is not fenced, so dogs must remain on a long line lead at all times to respect the local surroundings.
