August 2023: CABN have unveiled four new architecturally built, custom cabins in the Barossa, offering visitors to the internationally acclaimed wine region the opportunity to experience the Barossa’s iconic vineyards from their stylish and eco-friendly luxury cabin.
Nestled amongst trees and overlooking the famous Avenue of Palms on Seppeltsfield Rd, and neighbouring the iconic Seppeltsfield Winery, the four new CABN X join the five CANVS cabins on the same property, which opened in March this year.
With an additional two CABNs on another hidden property located close by the Barossa, is now the only destination to offer guests a choice of all three product types – CABN, CANVS and CABN X.
The four new CABN X provide the ultimate nature retreat for discerning travellers with luxury interiors and premium comforts including a spacious king size bed with glass skylight, coffee machine, fireplace, large indoor bath and private cedar sauna, and outdoor Weber kitchen.
CABN CEO Michael Lamprell, said The Barossa is a key destination for CABN and the region offers experiences that add value to CABN’s luxurious cabins.
“Our aim is to create nature and destination experiences that leave our guests feeling rested, rejuvenated and connected to nature, and what better place to achieve this than in the heart of Australia’s highly respected viticultural region, the Barossa,” said Michael.
“The sense of arrival is breathtaking, driving through the iconic Avenue of Palms, and with the convenience of walking just 500 meters to our neighbour, Seppeltsfield Winery, CABN X offers a true Seppeltsfield destination experience. The modern cellar door with its seated tasting area, and renowned Fino restaurant set amongst the heritage stonework of the estate is beautiful.
“And more broadly, CABN X at Seppeltsfield is only a short drive to over 80 cellar doors and a great food and wine scene offering some of our country’s best culinary experiences. It’s all about premium comforts while guests unplug, connect with nature and enjoy the local produce and surrounds.”
The CABN Barossa development now totals eleven cabins. With two minimalist CABNs, five CANVS eco-friendly pavilion style cabins, and four luxury CABN X, the destination caters to a broad range of travellers, all looking enjoy benefits that eco-friendly nature inspired travel brings.
CABN X rates start at $595 per night / twin share + service fee and bookings can be made on the CABN website.
