Things to Do

The first thing to do is stop. Drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw and take a deep, slow, and restorative breath.

For those seeking a relaxed pace, Cape St Albans is the perfect retreat. Sip a glass of wine from one of the nearby wineries on your private deck while taking in the stunning views of the landscape. Watch the resident kangaroos come out at dusk, basking in the golden light. Get lost in a book cosied up by the fire or practise the art of simply reconnecting with yourself. This place is spectacular any time of the year, particularly in winter as you are perfectly situated to witness the impressive weather systems roll through Backstairs Passage.

While enjoying your stay on the island, Cape St Albans provides a luxury base for exploring the wilderness and the island’s many recreational activities. From hiking and wildlife tours, to surfing and fishing there’s plenty to get you outdoors.
