Only a forty minute drive south of Adelaide and with so much to do, the Fleurieu Peninsula - home to the McLaren Vale wine region - is arguably the most accessible and diverse region in South Australia. The wine is outstanding and the coastline and beaches are spectacular any time of the year. There are national parks and native forest reserves that are begging you to get lost into nature.
It’s no secret in South Australia that the coastline of the Fleurieu is a popular place for South Australians in summer, but there are so many beaches that if tranquility is what you crave, simply move onto the next one if the first one has a few people on it. If wine is more your thing, no problem, there are 80 cellar doors to choose from in the McLaren Vale alone. Don’t want to drive? All good, some of our CABN’s can be found on a working vineyard and you can organise a ride to the tasting room.
These are just some of the things you can do if you choose to leave your CABN. If all you want to do is absolutely nothing at all, then you’ve come to the right place. Soak up the nature while soaking in the tub at CABN X, or fire up the fire at any of our CABN’s in winter and cosy up with your significant other.
Whatever kind of nature escape you need, the Fleurieu Peninsula has it and CABN is at the heart of it.
